Information to JETAA & JAVA: August 12,13&14 Consulate Event at Harbourfront

JAVAのマークです。日本の領事館はボランティアを募集しています。イベントは今週末にToronto Harbourfront Centreにてに行なわれるFortune Cooking Food Festivalです。イベントは今週の金曜日から日曜日までのイベントですが、金曜日、日曜日は満員になっています。土曜日に参加希望の方は直接にMarcia Iwasakiさんにご連絡下さい。

The Consulate-General of Japan needs volunteers to assist at the Japan Booth at the following Habourfront Centre event. The event is three days long, but they are now looking only for volunteers for this Saturday the 13th. Please let us know if you're interested, or contact Marcia Iwasaki directly at marcia@japancg-toronto.org
(Fortune Cooking Food Festival) to be held 12(Fri.), 13(Sat.) and 14(Sun.) August.
What will we be doing?
*Participate in Mikoshi (portable shrine) Parade wearing Happi coat (Happi's will be supplied by Consulate office). Parade schedule will be informed by Harbourfront Centre shortly. There will be Lion Dance (Shishi-mai) too. We might need some help in the dance too.
*Distribute Japan Tourism information at the booth (handing out materials on tourism to Japan).
*Setup and take down of the Japan booth.
How many are needed?
*We need 6 volunteers on 13 Aug.
How long volunteers are expected to work ?
*On Aug.13: 12:30-23:30
We will be able to provide a small honorarium.
*At least 50 dollars per day. The amount has not yet been confirmed.
