JAVA はJETAAと協力しながら、今回の展覧会・なかみち/Middle Distanceの開催を進めてきました。なかみち/Middle Distanceは、日本人とカナダ人のアーティストによって様々な多様性を表現した作品の展覧会です。テーマの捉え方に制限はないので、みなさんの想像 力を最大限に生かしてみてください！

JETAA Torontoは、1991年秋に、JETプログラム経験者のフォーラムとして創立されました。
JETAA Torontoは、いろいろなイベントを通してJETプログラム(The Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme) 経験者にネットワークを提供し、
カナダ日本間の友好関係を深める為に活動しており、日系コミュニティーと連携することを目的としています。


JAVA Toronto and JETAA Toronto would like to invite you to join us for our joint art exhibition’s big opening night celebration on November 22nd. All are welcome, so invite your friends to come out and enjoy the amazing artistic works and some tasty drinks!

For those who don’t know, JAVA, the Japanese Visitors Association, is a Non-Profit Organization that provides informational and social support to Japanese speakers visiting the Toronto area and introducing Japanese culture to people who are interested in Japan.
The JET Alumni Association of Toronto (JETAA Toronto) was founded in the fall of 1991 as a forum for former participants of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme. The objectives of the association are to provide a network for former participants of the JET Programme via regular social events and liaise with other Japan-related organizations working to build strong ties of friendship between Canada and Japan.

We’re teaming up for the Nakamichi / Middle Distance art exhibition, Photography and more, which seeks to include (but not limit) a cross-section of diverse work from both Japanese and English speaking artists.
