I would like to invite you all to the 3rd Annual JETAA SHIGOT.O. Career & Networking Event. We are looking for a few representatives from your company or organization to network with job- & volunteering-seeking individuals from Toronto. This event keeps growing each year, and - especially with your prescence - will help strengthen the bonds we have created between Japan & Canada. At The Japan Foundation, 131 Bloor Street West (2nd Floor)
The Toronto Chapter of the Japan Exchange & Teaching Alumni Association (JETAA) invites your company/organization to the 3rd Annual SHIGOT.O. Career and Networking Fair for returning JET Programme teachers and individual job- & volunteering-seekers interested in working in Toronto, Japan and beyond.
This once-a-year event provides a great opportunity for companies and organizations to network with university-educated graduates with diverse work backgrounds.
The main goals and objectives of the SHIGOT.O. Career & Networking Event are to:
- Encourage networking and career development;
- Elevate the visibility of organizations in Toronto and Japan; and
- Create opportunities for returning JETs, alumni and participating organizations.
This event is intended to be an “Open House” format where participants can interact with each other on a personal basis in an informal atmosphere. Information from representatives such as literature, business cards, etc. is welcome.
JETAA Toronto aims to provide a network for the JET community, support the efforts of the Consulate General of Japan with the promotion, recruitment and preparation of new participants for the JET Programme, and liaise with other Japan-related organizations to building strong ties between Canada and Japan.
