JCCC春祭りボランティア / Volunteers for JCCC Haru-Matsuri

JCCCボランティアの皆様へ：（English version is after the Japanese version)）

まだまだ寒い日が続きますが、いかがお過ごしですか。

JCCCでは今年も3月2日（土）、3日（日）の2日間にわたり、毎年恒例の『春祭り』を開催いたします。
今年はJCCC創立50周年になり、春祭りは1月から4月までトロントで開催されているSpotlight Japanの一貫となっております。
そこで現在このイベントをお手伝いしていただける、ボランティアを募集しています。金曜日の準備と、週末両日共お昼の12時から夕方5時までのイベントとなっております。

お手伝いが必要となるのは以下の通りです。
第一日目：3月2日(土)　ボランティア時間帯：11時から5時半まで
第二日目：3月3日(日)　ボランティア時間帯：11時から5時半まで
(時間指定のあるエリアもありますのでご相談下さい。)
1. キッズコーナー（子供たちのためのアクティビティの手伝い）
2. *キッチンヘルプ（簡単な調理の手伝い、皿洗い、食べ物をフードコートに運ぶなど）−午前10時から
3. フードブース（フードの販売、飲食エリアの掃除）
4. ギフトショップ（JCCCギフトショップ商品の販売）
5. パーキング（駐車場での車の誘導）– シフト: 10am-12:30pm, 12pm-2pm, 2-4pm
6. *受付（入場者のカウントと入場チケットの販売）
*のついているエリアは高校生不可。
＃２と＃３のエリアでお手伝いの際は、エプロン、帽子（三角巾）を必ずご持参下さい。

ご自分の興味あるエリアをお知らせください。尚、特にご指定のない場合はこちらで決定させて頂きます。(ご自分のご希望でないエリアを指定させて頂く事もございますのでご了承下さい。)学生の皆さんでボランティアアワーが必要な方は必ず事前にお申し出の上、当日必要な用紙をご持参下さい。

Dear JCCC Volunteers,

Hope things are going well for you.

The annual Haru Matsuri (Spring Festival) is coming up on Sat & Sun March 2nd and 3rd at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre. Doors will open from 12pm to 5pm on both days. This year is the JCCC 50th anniversary and Haru Matsuri is also a part of Spotlight Japan which is held in Toronto from January-April.

The following are volunteer opportunities at the festival:
Date: Saturday, March 2nd and (or) Sunday, March 3rd
Volunteer Hours: 11am-5:30pm (Kitchen Help: 10am-)
Areas :
1. Kids Corner (helping out with kids activities)
2. *Kitchen Assistance (helping in the kitchen – cutting vegetables, bringing out food to the food court )
3. Food Booth (selling food and cleaning the food court area)
4. Gift Shop (selling JCCC gift shop items)
5. Parking (parking traffic control) – Shift: 10am-12:30pm, 12pm-2pm, or 2-4pm
6. *Admission (selling admission tickets and counting number of attendance)
*Those positions are NOT suitable for High School students.
Areas on #2 and #3 will be required to wear an apron, a hat (a bandana) and gloves.

Please let me know which area you are interested. If you do not specify, I will assign you as needed. If you need High School volunteer hours for your school, please make sure to indicate in advance.
