●セミナー：原子力発電所の仕組み・福島原子力発電所の考察 - 講師：三浦

[] 沸騰型原子炉、圧力型原子炉、CANDU型原子炉、球形燃料型原子炉の仕組みとその違いの説明。(下記の写真参照)

[] 福島第一原子力発電所(沸騰型)のこれまでに起こったことと現在の状況(推測を含む)の説明。福島第一と第二の津波対策の違いなど。
[] 質疑応答。かなりの質疑応答がありました。
[] 高部さんによる今までIIECMLに投稿された情報のまとめ。

●その他出た話題：

[] Windows7にはOfficeが付いて来ない。買うと$300位もする。
[] Office student versionを入れたら Copy/Pasteが出来ない。
[] 古いcomputerにLINAXを入れたら早い。日本語を入れる必要あり。
[] 株の話。
[] XP-->VistanにしたらPhotoshopが働かない-->Compatibility modeにする。
[] DVDをcopyして日本へ持って行きたいがRegion codeの問題がある?
[] InternetのfiberopticはBellもRogersも一部の幹線のみ。
[] Bellなど25GBを越えるとextra charge、映画のdownloadなど気をつける。LocalなISPでは300GBなどがある。

・・・などなど。今後はInternet/Computerに関わらず今回の原子力のようにその時に話題になったことなども話す機会としようという意見が出ました。

◇例会は年2回、通常春(4月第3日曜日)と秋(10月第3日曜日)。
◇必要に応じて上記以外にも集ります。

[] Explanation of the designs of Boiling Water Type (BWR), Pressure Water Type (PWR), CANDU Type, Pebble Type and their differences. (See the picture below)

[] fiberoptic internet is for trunk lines only: Bell & Rogers
