Kampai Toronto Festival of Sake is back for a live in person event! The Sake Institute of Ontario (SIO) is calling on enthusiastic volunteers to help with this exciting occasion.
Volunteer Tasks
- Setting up the event (tables, table cloths, ice buckets, glasses etc)
- Distributing water jugs, refilling water jugs, emptying ice buckets
- Making sure areas are clean (sweeping, cleaning spilled drinks, etc)
- Registering/scanning guests, giving out drink tickets, directing guests to event space, washrooms
- Taking down the event (tables, collecting glasses & rentals)
Shifts
Volunteers are needed throughout the day!
Day Shift: 11am-5pm
Evening Shift: 5pm-11pm
All Day Shift: 1:30pm-9:30pm
Hours can be flexible depending on your availability
Volunteer Compensation: Food & thank you goody bag (including sake and more) will be provided.

Event Description
Kampai Toronto is a cultural, food, and sake festival showcasing sake from over 50 breweries from Japan and around the world, featuring over 200 sakes with many brewers flying in from Japan for this special event. Along with sake, the festival also showcases a selection of tasting items from Toronto’s top local Japanese and Asian restaurant partners.
Hosted by the SIO at the wonderful JCCC on Oct 1st in celebration of World Sake Day.
The SIO is a non-profit organization with the principle objective of educating and promoting the enjoyment and responsible consumption of sake.
