今年もHigh Parkの桜開花予想の積算気温を計算しています。 開花予想は基本的には、予告編・予想#1と変わりません。

開花予想範囲：5月4日から5月8日の間(*注)
満開予想範囲：5月7日から5月11日の間(*注)

*「開花」とはあらかじめ決めた3本の木のうち2本に5ー6輪咲いた状態。
*「満開」とは80%の花が咲いた状態。

現在の数値に2週間の長期予報、その後は平年値を使って計算しています。まだ不確定要素があります。今後の予想に注意していて下さい。下記のトロント日系社会電子掲示板に掲載して行きます。

[] Nobby's Fearless Prediction of Cherry Blossoms at High Park (#2)

I am again calculating the cumulative temperature record for predicting the blooming of the cherry flowers in the High Park.

The latest predictions are not much different from the preview and the prediction #1.

The prediction range of the beginning of the bloom: May 4 - May 8 (*)
The prediction range of the full bloom: May 7 - May 11 (*)

* The definition of the beginning of the bloom is that at least 5 to 6 flowers on at least two trees each among the three pre-chosen trees bloom.
* Full bloom means the condition where 80% of the flowers are in full bloom.

The prediction is calculated using the 14-day forecast and the average daily temperatures of the past 7 years.  There are uncertain factors exist. Please keep watching the posting in the Toronto Nikkei Forum below:

Note: I am not an expert on the blooming nor the cherry blossoms.  I am calculating the figures with very basic pieces of information. I do not take any responsibilities if the prediction was off.
