SNEAK PEEK PARTY - March 10th @ Cinecycle

A year after the Great Tohoku Earthquake, Japan continues to struggle and to rebuild, but on Saturday, March 10th, on the eve of the first anniversary of this historic disaster, starting at 7:00PM The Shinsedai Cinema Festival will be celebrating Japan's creativity, culture and laughter with our Sneak Peek Party @ Cinecycle (129 Spadina Ave.).

We will be proudly announcing the opening night film of our 2012 festival, plus we'll be screening the omnibus comedy film Quirky Guys and Gals, from the makers of the cult hit Japanese comedies Survive Style 5+ and Fine, Totally Fine.

After the screening DJ Brandon Hocura will kick off the party portion of the night. There will be prizes as we raffle off an assortment of items with a portion of proceeds going to the Niji-Iro "Rainbow" Cinema Support Project.

The Shinsedai Cinema Festival would like to thank New Cinema Workshop, Gold View Co. Ltd., Third Window Films for making the night's screenings possible.
