Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Fundraiser

Jason Ishida and Eric Chan, JET English teachers from the Fukushima area will speak on their experiences.
Both Jason and Eric have first hand accounts of living through the earthquake and tsunami that devastated the northeastern region of Japan.

Please join us on Sunday, April 10 from 12:30pm to 3:00pm in the Social Hall downstairs at the Toronto Buddhist Church and support these two survivors who are working to keep the efforts and awareness of helping the devastated areas of Japan alive.

A suggestion donation of $20.00 to GlobalMedic (Japan Relief Fund) or the Salvation Army (Japan Relief Fund) would be appreciated. Forms will be available at the door.

There will be a 50/50 draw, a silent auction, entertainment and light refreshments.

Help convey a message to those who are still suffering in Japan that we send our compassion and hopes for a recovery from this unprecedented disaster.
