Volunteering for 50th Anniversary of Japanese Immigration Party

The party will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Japanese immigration after World War II.

Event Date & Time:  Thu. October 12, 2017 6:30pm-9:30pm (Cocktail party starts at 6pm)

Volunteer Hours:  5:00pm - 10:30pm
Volunteer meal:  Delicious curry and rice!!

Deadline for registration:  Thu. Oct 5, 2017
Requirements:
• All positions are open to 19 years of age or older.
• ボランティアは１９歳以上に限ります。

1967年10月にカナダ移民法施行規則改正が発効され新たな移民選考基準が導入された新移住者の年から丁度今年が50周年になります。
過去日系カナダ人が戦中戦後全財産を奪われ様々な困難があったのにも関わらず、微塵も卑屈な様子はなくみごとな佇まいで生き、このカナダに日系人が幸せに暮すことができるコミュニティーを形成してきました。
私たちは先代の日系カナダ人に感謝しまたそれを後世に伝え、未来の新しい日系移民者に日系カナダ人の歴史を知ってもらい築き上げてきたコミュニティーをより深い絆とともに継続、維持していくべきだと考えます。

私たちのこの運命的な繋がりを永続できるようボランティアとして参加して皆で盛大に祝いませんか？
