皆さん、夏休みはいかがお過ごしでしたか?私も日本とウクライナの旅から戻り、もうすぐ始まる新学期に向けて、時差とお休みボケからのリハビリ中です。しかし年々回復が遅くなってますね。年のせいでしょうか。。。

さて、久しぶりにトロントで「応援絵てがみ」をさせてもらう事になりました。今回は岩手県震災孤児の為の義援金集めのイベントです。

9月5日(月)レイバーデイ 午後2時から9時までYonge × Front にあるMarché Restaurant’s Patio in Brookfield Place

食べ物、飲み物、クラフト、絵てがみ、折り紙、バンド演奏、などなど大人も子供も楽しめるイベントです。夏休み最後の日。ご家族、友人、知人、親戚などお誘い合わせの上、お気軽にお立ち寄り下さい!

ボランティア一同、心よりお待ちしています。

Japanese Chefs Cook to Help Orphans in Japan
Come join us for a celebration of global community spirit through delicious food specially prepared for this event by Japanese chefs from the GTA area! Each chef will have his or her own yatai or booth to offer a dish. All proceeds will go to help children who were orphaned by earthquakes and the tsunami earlier this year in Japan.

There will be mouth-watering beef tongue curry, delicious yakisoba, Oita-style chicken nanban and more! There will be vegetarian dishes too! Renowned culinary masters include Tamio Ninomiya from Shinobu Restaurant, Shoko Sakiyama, Takahiro Kuroki, and Minako Tsutsui.

Date: September 5 (Labour Day), 2011
Time: 2pm to 9pm (Food will be served until 8pm)
Venue: Marché Restaurant’s Patio in Brookfield Place
181 Bay Street, Toronto, ON (Yonge x Front)
*Use patio entrance just east of 22 Front Street across from 1 Front Street.
Tickets: Prepared dishes $5 to $10!

This family-friendly day features children’s table where young people can draw pictures and make crafts. Live music grooves supplied by:
Random Order and Soulmotivators.
