Information Sessions on the New Japanese-Language Proficiency Test

The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) has been offered by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services since 1984 as a reliable means of evaluating and certifying the Japanese proficiency of non-native speakers. The JLPT is the largest scale Japanese-language test in the world.

In 2010, the JLPT was revised in order to better measure the communicative competence of diverse examinees. Accordingly, the Japan Foundation , Toronto is going to offer information sessions for Japanese language learners who are planning to take the JLPT this year. Those who are interested, please see below.

Dates and Times: (N1-N3: 2-day session, N4-N5 1-day session)
JLPT N1 Information Sessions 8/15, 22 (Mondays 7:00 – 8:30)
JLPT N2 Information Sessions 8/19, 26 (Fridays 6:30 – 8:00)
JLPT N3 Information Sessions 8/24, 31 (Wednesdays 6:30 – 8:00)
JLPT N4 Information Session 9/2 (Friday 6:30 – 8:30)
JLPT N5 Information Session 9/6 (Tuesday 6:30 – 8:30)
Application Deadline: (Space is limited, so please apply as soon as possible.)
N1 and N2 : August 10, 2011
N3, N4, and N5: August 20, 2011
