ASHITA: Artists for Japan
ASHITA: Artists for Japan
Ashita in Japanese means tomorrow. Our event aims not just to raise fund for the victims of the earth quake/Tsunami in Japan, but also awareness within Toronto artistic communities about the importance of maintaining the momentum of support. Today we make actions. Tomorrow for them it may be difficult but we will continue the actions for the future.
The event will be hosted Japanese International fashion model Nana Akimoto(Sid, your favorite!!), and it consists of music by Ashley Ingram(you gotta be good, you gotta be strong, you gotta be wiser ...producer) , "Super Hero" dance by AKA Dance (Keiko Ninomiya, Amy Hampton, Mike Dell), poetry reading by Ewan Whyte, and others. The other aspect of the event is a silent auction of artworks by Toronto's talented artists.
Thank you and hoping to see you there!!
Yours truly,
Daisuke Takeya, M.F.A.
