JAVA Pub night in May.　皐月（5月）JAVAパブナイトのお知らせ (J&E)

こんにちは、JAVAスタッフのなおえです。

すっかり春らしくなってきましたね。
街には緑が増えて、公園や至る所にはタンポポがたくさん咲いています☆
うちの裏庭では、小さなシマリスや、白いウサギも見かけるようになりました。
こんな時は、外に出ないともったいない！！

JAVAパブナイトでは、お友達作り、情報交換、英語の練習などを目的に
どなたでも参加して頂けます！！
毎月バンド演奏もありますよ☆
さぁ、いっしょに楽しく飲みましょう！

３．7月11日（日）１０AM～ JETPDO ジャパンファウンデーションにて

１．のパブナイトは、みんなでお酒を飲みながら情報交換したり、カナダ人、日本人のお友達づくり等をする為のパーティです。JAVAでは、パブナイトを円滑に運営するためのボランティアスタッフを募集しています。

２．のジョブセミナーは、バイト探しをしているワーホリの人達を対象に履歴書の書き方、面接の仕方等をレクチャーします。
ちなみに、模擬面接（カナディアンの面接官）や、グループディスカッション等も行います。こちらも、円滑に運営するためのボランティアスタッフを募集しています。

３．のJETPDOは、これから英語の先生として各都道府県の小中高へ派遣されるカナディアン（JET)の為に、寸劇で日本の文化やマナー、考え方等をレクチャーします。こちらは、劇に出演してくれるボランティアキャストを募集しています。

Spring has come.
It's getting nice and green in town, and there are a lot of dandelions blooming.
Everyday, I see small chipmunks in my back yard, and the other day, I saw a cute rabbit!
It's a great time to go out!!

We have a pub night on Thursday May 13th.
Make friends, chat, meet other people with the same interests as you, and
practice Japanese at JAVA pub night.
Anybody can join us, so come one come all!
Every month, we have a live band.
Please come out and have a fun with us!!

●JAVA needs volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please email us at javaseminar@hotmail.com or ask JAVA staff about it at the Pub night. We are always looking for volunteers, and could really use your help for the following events.

１. Thursday May. 13th 8PM~ Pub night at ALIO (see above)
２．Beginning of June Job seminar (date TBA)
３．Sun. July. 11th （Sun.）10AM～ JETPDO at the Japan Foundation.

2. Our job seminar is a workshop for Japanese people trying to find a job in Toronto. We focus on how to look for a job in Toronto, how to write a resume, and how to perform well in a job interview. It is conducted mostly
in Japanese with mock interviews done in English.

3. The JET Programme's PDO (Pre-Departure Orientation) is two days of training and orientation for the lucky people who are going to Japan this August to be teachers on the JET Programme. JAVA will be at the PDO, doing a seminar on Japanese pop culture and a skit about etiquette and behaviour in Japan.
