(*) Ontario州議会は2020年11月に1年を通して恒久的に夏時間にする法律を可決しました。
しかしながらそれを施行する権限は司法長官にあり、州政府は経済的関係の大きいQuebec州とNY州が同様な処置をしない限り施行しないそうです。
ちなみにCanadaの州ではではSaskatchewan州のみが1年中夏時間です。

(*) The Ontario legislature passed a resolution to make the Daylight Saving Time (DST) to be permanent throughout the year in Ontario in November, 2020.
However, Ontario’s Attorney General would only bring the act into motion in coordination with Quebec and the state of New York concerning the close economic ties with the province and the state..
By the way, among the Canadian provinces, only Saskatchewan maintains the DST throughout the year.
