Yumiko Katsuya Biography
Born in Tokyo, Japan
1971 Moved to Montreal, became Canadian resident
1972 Moved to Toronto
1983 Joined Hill Potters Guild and started making pottery 1988, 1994, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2005
Juror's Choice Award at Hill Potter's Show
1999 Pottery Exhibition at the Japan Foundation, Toronto
2004 Pottery Exhibition at the Burr House Craft Gallery, Richmond Hill
2006 Pottery Exhibition at the Japan Foundation, Toronto
2010 Vase was selected at the Toronto Potters Biennial Juried Exhibition and displayed at Gardiner
Museum.
2011 People's Choice Award- Toronto Potters Fall Show & Sale
2012 Honorary Advisor's Award at the Tokyo Ceramic Exhibition
2012 Vase selected at the Toronto Potters Biennial Juried Exhibition Works displayed at the Ontario
