Dear Attendees at the JJCN network,

I wanted to invite you to Sakura Project Ceremony at Japanese Gospel Church where we will be gratefully recognizing the gift of 30 Japanese cherry trees which are being donated by the Japanese Consulate. This gift of cherry trees points to our heritage and the past friendship between Japan and Canada, and also (because the trees are young) points to future vitality and life of the wider Japanese-Canadian community.

This ceremony with refreshments following will take place on Saturday, April 17th at 10:30AM @ Japanese Gospel Church, 301 Silver Star Blvd., Scarborough M1V 0B6. (For a map & contact information, please see You can also contact me at 647-209-5428.)

Even though the weather is chilly at present, please accept our warm invitations to this ceremony.

Sincerely Yours,
Ray Ebisuzaki
