Volunteer for 年末大掃除！Year End Cleaning

Dear JCCC Volunteers,
Need to work off those extra Christmas pounds?
In Japan, there’s a tradition to do a complete top-to-bottom cleaning to welcome the new year.
At the JCCC, we do the same to keep our centre looking spiffy!
On Thursday Dec 28 and Friday Dec 29, we will be getting our hands dirty to make sure our martial arts area is ready for 2018.
It’s a great way to get together with other fellow volunteers and sweat and laugh a little, while helping to keep the JCCC in tip top shape.
Date: Thursday December 28 and Friday December 29
Time: 10:00am to 3:00pm
Yummy lunch will be provided.
It is physical work, so we invite anyone who is physically fit, and grade 9 and over to come out and join us.
The work will include:
* Blowing dust off the ceiling ducts and beams
* Wiping down windows and walls
* Wiping down the tatami & vacuuming under the tatami in the Dojo
* Vacuuming and Cleaning the floors
All safety and cleaning supplies will be provided.
It is hard work, but it’ll be fun, and efforts like these keep our centre looking great, and allow our programs to run smoothly and efficiently.
